Our Genetic Transfer Partners

Over 8,000 doses of semen cleared for export to Australia and New Zealand have been collected from two Excellerator bulls in recent months at Independent Breeders of Airdrie, Alberta.

Dr. Vlad Pawlyshyn of Trans Tech Genetics from the University of Saskatchewan competently handles our embryo transfer work. Only the top 10% of our proven females are considered for embryo donors. Frozen embryos are sold to off-shore clients and are used in the foundation herd at Moosomin, Saskatchewan.

Acknowledgements

We really appreciate and value the many customers and friends who have toured our facilities and demonstrated their belief in our program by purchasing bulls from our foundation herd during some pretty lean development years. As Excellerator Genetics continues to grow confidently into the future, please be assured every customer will be treated with the same tradition of excellence and integrity which has brought us so far. Our objective is not only selling bulls and semen, but we are also committed to improving your future calf crops.

About the Breeder

Ron Dietrich graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1979, where his main areas of studies were in animal science and economics. In 1979, he returned to the family farm and continued the intensive A.I. program initiated by his father, Adam Dietrich in 1967. Since 1986, Ron Dietrich has been instrumental in introducing many within the beef industry to the composite breeding science for the first time. Today his sights are firmly set on low cost production techniques, meeting industry carcass specifications, and fostering vertical beef industry efficiencies. He finds today's challenges stimulating and is well positioned to make that vital link between the proven technologies of modern science and the independent spirit of the commercial beef producer.
